Welcome to my journey! I am Nicole Yeoh, an Executive Director of BNI Kuching, a skincare consultant, and a passionate advocate for women in business. My story is a tale of two worlds - law and entrepreneurship - and the bridge that connects them is my profound belief in the power of connections and confidence.
My career began in the legal field. I delved into the complexities of law, experiencing firsthand the challenges and rewards of the profession. But as I navigated this journey, I realized a pressing need: lawyers required better marketing strategies to truly make an impact.
This revelation led me down a new path - business networking. I discovered BNI, an organization that resonated with my philosophy of growing through strategic connections. With my husband by my side, we launched BNI Kuching, marking a new chapter in our professional lives.
To date, our BNI community has grown to encompass over 230 diverse businesses, and together, we've generated over $35 million worth of business through referrals. This growth is a testament to the strength of structured networking and the business potential that lies within our vibrant community.
But my mission is more than just fostering business networks. As a working mother myself, I understand the unique challenges women face in the entrepreneurial world. My goal is to empower women, particularly mothers, equipping them with the tools and confidence they need to thrive in business. I aspire to build a future where women feel supported, confident, and successful in their professional lives.
Alongside my role in BNI, I ventured into the field of skincare consulting. I believe that true confidence comes from within and is reflected in how we present ourselves to the world. Through skincare, I strive to help women feel beautiful, confident, and empowered in their skin.
